Warning: Not all online hho manuals are the same

This past Saturday (on July 12th, 2008), I had the privilege of attending the weekly "Water4Gas" live demo/showing that happens every Saturday in Van Nuys, CA. I happen to live in Van Nuys! When I saw that they have a demonstration every week a five minute drive away from where I live, I was so excited! I took my husband and our kids.

At this live demo, people are encouraged to bring and show their water hybrid cars.

It was a hot, Southern California, summer day, but there still were dozens of people milling around the open hoods of cars with water hybrid systems installed. Companies that manufacture and/or install these systems had tents up, explaining to passersby in their makeshift shade how their various systems worked, and answering questions.

Number one thing I learned: All water-hybrid systems are not created equal.

There were many cars there that had what was called the "mason jar" system installed. This is the system that Water4Gas.com and various other Do-it-yourself websites promote which looks something like this:

The last booth that my husband and I visited had created a water-hybrid car using a much more sophisticated system. They had created what they call a Hydro Assist Fuel Cell, with a self-contained unit and metal plating. The guy demonstrating the system explained that you would be able to get at least a 50% increase in mileage with more unique and superior technology.

When asked how his technology was better than the "mason jar" technology, he stated, "Let me put it this way, it's the difference between writing with a paper and pen, and typing on a computer."

Suddenly, all of the "mason jar" cars looked primitive. People around the booth got excited. One guy even asked if they were looking for installers.

However, unless you are willing to spend almost $1000 USD on this kit (which would be money well spent, but geez!), plus the cost of installation by your mechanic, then this superior system is out of reach.

There's ONLY one online manual that I found that is similar to the superior HAFC system, and that is the system promoted in the Gas 4 Free manual. Plus, it's the exact same price as Water4Gas. If you're going to spring for a manual anyway, you might as well get the more sophisticated benefits.
